Her Campus is an online publication with teams of student journalists at college campuses throughout the country. As a staff writer, I wrote weekly articles about topics ranging from politics to fashion.
At Her Campus, I enjoyed the freedom of writing about anything I wanted, as long as it related to college students. For me, that meant interviewing prominent professors and students, discussing the 2016 presidential election, and highlighting cultural events.
In addition to writing, I contributed to planning and volunteering at events to help our platform gain traction.
