Hi, my name is Greta. I'm a writer based in Brooklyn, New York.
With five years of experience in marketing and content creation, I help brands tell their stories and build communities through everything from creative copy and social media posts to long-form blogs and bylines.
I graduated from Florida State University in 2018 with a Bachelor's degree in Editing, Writing and Media. While I was there, I wrote for Her Campus FSU, and was an assistant editor at FSU's literary magazine, the Kudzu Review. During my time in Tallahassee, I worked as a content writer at Wilderness Graphics, a local production company that created signs and exhibits for parks, museums and visitor centers across the country.
After graduating, I interned at Adjective & Co., where I managed social media for local clients, handling every step of creation including photography, copy writing, scheduling and community management. I also interned at Whalebone magazine, where I wrote lifestyle articles for the print and online magazine.
Since then, I've worked at a small agency called Codeword. As an associate editor, I split my time between writing snappy social copy for all the major platforms and writing long-form blog posts and bylines on a range of topics, including travel tips, behind-the-scenes tech stories, social justice, and urban planning.
When I'm not writing, you can find me lost in a book, practicing Britney choreography for my next karaoke night, or wandering the city.
